Literacy rate of African American males in the US by the age of 18 is 87.1% according to NAEP.
The employment rate referenced is the employment-to-population ratio. At any rate, your stat is wrong and it currently sits at 65% for African American men and 67.1% for Caucasian men. But I’ll give you that it’s the lowest. Blacks, Hispanics, and Native Americans all have a higher illegitimacy rate than whites and Asians, with Asians being the lowest. The felony stat is correct but indicates systemic disparities outside the scope of this post. Whites have a much larger population, and 16% have felony convictions. This is because whites commit considerably more crimes than any other racial group at a whopping 69.4% of total crimes and 59.1% of ALL violent crimes.
