Sony's idea that gamers will remain loyal to them is based on the mirage that they're "for the gamers". That loyalty was built from that specific image.

Now that they've shown their true colors, Im not so sure gamers will just step in line like Sony believes

Xbox has the best opportunity in platform history since the launch of the Xbox 360/PS3 era.

Im starting to think the PS6 will struggle. It'll likely be $1000 plus which is going to push a lot of people out.
