Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation hosted an international round table at Baku Climate Action Week 2026 dedicated to “Cultural Heritage and Biodiversity Conservation in the Turkic Civilization: From Shared Traditions to Joint Action.”
Opening the event, TCHF President Prof. Aktoty Raimkulova emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation for the protection of cultural and natural heritage and expressed appreciation to all partners for their support.
The round table brought together high-level representatives, parliamentarians, diplomats, international organizations, scholars and experts from different countries. Discussions addressed the impact of climate change on cultural heritage, the close relationship between cultural and natural heritage, biodiversity conservation, traditional knowledge and practices, and enhancing the resilience of heritage to climate-related risks.
Participants highlighted the need for stronger international and regional cooperation, joint projects and practical initiatives to safeguard the shared heritage of the Turkic world and ensure its transmission to future generations.

The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation organized an international panel session during the VI World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan, held within the framework of the international scientific conference “Nomadic Civilizations: Heritage, Paradigms, and Perspectives.”
Under the theme “Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World – A Factor of Unity and Sustainable Development,” scholars, researchers and cultural heritage specialists discussed the preservation, study and transmission of the shared heritage of Turkic peoples.
Representing the Foundation, Leyla Hasanova delivered the opening address on behalf of President Prof. Aktoty Raimkulova, while Nuri Aksu co-moderated the session and presented the Foundation’s activities and major projects.
The “Cultural Code of the Turkic World” Catalogue was also presented as an important step toward a Common Turkic Heritage List.
The Foundation honored experts from Kyrgyzstan for their valuable contributions to the Catalogue and reaffirmed its commitment to advancing scientific and institutional cooperation for the preservation of our shared heritage.
The VI World Nomad Games once again demonstrated the power of culture, heritage and shared values to bring the Turkic World together.
The President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Prof. Aktoty Raimkulova, met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary, Ms. Esmira Jafarova.
The meeting focused on ongoing efforts to preserve, study and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples, as well as the Foundation’s priorities and new initiatives aimed at strengthening the international promotion of the Turkic world’s shared cultural heritage.
Prof. Raimkulova highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation with Hungary, an observer country of the Foundation, while Ms. Jafarova emphasized the significance of implementing joint projects.

CECECO representatives visited the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation @_TCHF . In the meeting with Prof. Aktoty Raimkulova, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation at the intersection of clean energy, climate action, and cultural heritage preservation. The meeting highlighted the importance of protecting cultural heritage sites from the impacts of climate change, promoting clean energy and energy-efficient solutions in heritage conservation, and advancing regional cooperation through joint initiatives and knowledge exchange.
As part of the Turkic World Week, dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the First Turkological Congress, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation will host a series of events:

The meeting focused on the Foundation’s international projects, efforts to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Turkic peoples, and key priorities for the coming period. Prof. Raimkulova highlighted initiatives implemented across member and observer states, as well as cooperation with international organizations.
Mr. Ismayilzade commended the Foundation’s contribution to strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties among Turkic states and promoting the Turkic world on the international stage.
The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation welcomed Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Azerbaijan H. E. Maria Victoria Romero Caballero for discussions on expanding cooperation in culture, heritage preservation.
During the meeting, President of the Foundation Prof. Aktoty Raimkulova highlighted the Foundation’s mission to promote the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic world and to support the preservation of Turkic heritage both within and beyond the Turkic States. The parties exchanged views on the importance of cultural diplomacy in fostering mutual understanding and building sustainable international partnerships. They also discussed the Foundation’s major international projects and explored future avenues for cooperation between Mexico and the Turkic world.

The Center for Culture of Turkic Peoples was officially inaugurated at the University of Warsaw with the support of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation.
The opening brought together representatives of the Turkic states, academia, and students, marking an important step in strengthening academic and cultural cooperation across Eurasia.
The Center will serve as a venue for education, exhibitions, workshops, and scholarly exchange, contributing to the promotion of the rich cultural heritage, languages, history, and traditions of the Turkic peoples in Poland while strengthening intercultural dialogue across Eurasia.
