Enough is enough. We mapped Bengaluru traffic to prove it is a huge civic and health risk that is taking lives and costing us lakhs just to exist here.
Some extremely sad data we found:
i) In a heart attack every 30 minutes of delay before treatment raises the risk of dying within a year by 7.5%. At 6 pm traffic here can add 25 minutes to an ambulance ride.
ii) Bengaluru has the most deaths from civic negligence in India. In August a 32 year old woman was killed when the bike she was on swerved around a pothole.
iii) Rush hour takes about a month of working hours from a commuter every year, like an 8% pay cut. Living near the tech parks to avoid it costs ₹1.6 to ₹2.4 lakh more a year in rent.
iv) You have access to only 3 out of 10 essential public facilities (schools, hospitals, toilets etc) at 6pm within a 30 minute vicinity.
v) The ORR carries more than double the traffic it can handle. Last year a company said it would leave Bellandur over 1.5 hour commutes and another state invited it within a day.
vi) The ORR bus lane cut bus trips by about 20 minutes. It was removed in 2022 for metro work and still is not back.
This is intolerable for a city that drives so much of India's economy. We cannot let India's Silicon Valley stall.
My team has put the most immediate fixes that will help solve this + how delayed/pushed they have been. Tag the people who can fix it: Traffic police or Namma Metro or GBA or the CM's office and let us all be honest and tell us what 6 pm has cost you.

@vfsglobalcare , I have an appointment set for tomorrow at the vfs centre in Bangalore for a UK visa. I have opted in for the premium lounge service. Would this mean the team there will assist with scanning & uploading of docs I will bring in physical form?
After raids on 5 star hotels, restaurants and food chains, Karnataka Health dept has now launched a QR code to file complaints about unhygienic food and conditions in restuarants etc. Consumers can instantly file a complaint using this.
Romário’s aura as a footballer was different.
His father was kidnapped before the 1994 World Cup. They demanded $7million.
Romario did not panic, he flew to Brazil and calmly told the press and the entire Brazil that if his father was not released unharmed, he won’t go to the World Cup.
He was Brazil’s best player at the time so the cartel, Police and Community started searching for his father.
Cartel bosses issued warnings to the kidnappers.
Police found him unharmed.
This will help you understand why players of today are always looking at him with so much respect.
When you’re big, you’re big.
Remember the truck full of stones that appeared near the CJP protest site in Jantar Mantar?
@ImAvdheshkumar traced the vehicle with its registration number. It was not a stray truck: the Delhi Police had seized it four days earlier

Did you save this as .doc, .docx or downloaded via Google Docs? It’s okay though. The key thing to remember is to ‘insert picture’ and thereby add your logo. You can also insert signature but maybe that’s “out of syllabus”, in keeping with the tone of our current state.
The claim of boys being detained at Nizammudin Police station for carrying food to Jantar Mantar is FALSE and MISLEADING.

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ AND SHARE.
Police, CRPF, and RAF personnel deployed around the Jantar Mantar protests have been asked to remove their name tags.
This is not a small thing. Removing a name tag is illegal. It exists for one reason — so that a police officer can be identified. If an officer engages in unlawful brutality and nobody can identify him, no action can ever be taken against him. Anonymity enables police excesses.
The Supreme Court settled this long ago. In D.K. Basu v. State of West Bengal, the Court directed that police personnel must wear accurate, visible and clear identification and name tags with their designations. Concealing them is a violation of a binding direction of the Supreme Court.
So we have set up a website to report it.
If you see a police officer, CRPF or RAF personnel without a name tag:
1. Take their picture
2. Upload it on the website
3. Every single one will be sent to the Delhi Police Commissioner and the DG CRPF, with a demand for an explanation
The law applies to everyone. It applies to the police too. Modi-Shah cannot be allowed to run the police as their personal mafia.

Step by step, our country is being pushed towards anarchy. Andhbhakts are treating the symptom while the youth are the ones looking to address the cause.
So the police are tracking down restaurants that have sent food to jantar mantar and told them to stop supplying “free food or making bulk deliveries “ @IndianExpress
Absolutely shameless, this. The protest is for the RIGHT TO EDUCATION and here we have educational institutions basically asking youngsters to stfu and stay home while laying thinly veiled threats around careers?
You guys are a disgrace to society. Shambles. Absolute shambles.
Dear students and faculty, your safety matters to us. Please note that any unlawful assemblies or demonstrations at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, which are strictly regulated as per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, may invite legal action. Such activities can also pose serious risks to students’ personal safety and significantly impact their academic progress and professional opportunities. Accordingly, all students are urged to stay away from Jantar Mantar and to prioritise their safety and compliance with the law. Furthermore, you are advised to exercise caution as a significant amount of fake and misleading content is being created and circulated to fuel the situation.
Exclusive: @gautam_adani TV @ians_india propaganda Expose!
Today @ians_india reached out to 4 'Students' to get a positive reaction from them, After PM Modi's tweet on paper leak and on Student's protest at Jantar Mantar. Surprisingly, All 4 'Students' praises PM Modi, Criticized the opposition, Claimed that CJP is foreign funded, dependant on foreign forces, Chinese Funded etc etc...
But the PRO-BJP Propaganda News Agency intentionally did not mention that all 4 students they reached out to are part of ABVP, A Student wing of RSS. The first student they spoke to is Swadhin, He is a General Secretary of ABVP, Mahanagar. Other three students are also associated with ABVP. Why misleading viewers by showing students associated with the BJP/RSS as normal students?
Another News Agency was known for running such propaganda, Now After Adani acquired IANS News Agency, They started Pro-BJP Propaganda too.

Wah @narendramodi Wah! 🤣🤣
This video was recorded yesterday evening inside a major government hospital in Delhi. Injured students had come there for medical treatment, and the police followed them into the hospital, intent on assaulting them. The doctors had to shut the gates.
Listen carefully to this 25-second video. What kind of barbarity has our country descended into?
