There was honestly no reason for him to play 44 minutes last night.

He was gassed at the end.

Spurs had a 15 point lead going into the 4th.

He played all 24 minutes in 2nd half.

He should have rested at beginning of 4th 4-5 minutes to give him more juice for the end game.

Also, no idea why Mitch didn’t go back to Carter in 2nd half — after him making a solid impact in 1st half.
