@federal_expres1 do better. I sent a pkg to a NJ business and your driver couldn't find the address THREE days in a row and blamed it on an incorrect address. After a week, the package is now lost. I had another package sent by @UPS who found the address the very next day.
A report from @HHSGov found that there were 1,216 products whose price increases from July 2021 to July 2022 exceeded the inflation rate of 8.5 percent. The average price increase for these drugs was a mind-boggling 31.6 percent.
.@PhRMA & its fronts are running $11M in ads that lie to the American people.
Here's one checked by @Politifact@KHNews and found to be FALSE.
@Sen_JoeManchin & @AARP are working to lower drug prices for patients and all Americans.

I am not a foreign policy expert, so I will leave the analysis to smarter people than me. I do know what it’s like to grow up after a war, in an occupied country, and I know that in war and its aftermath, no one wins. Everyone suffers.
#LowerDrugPricesNow this drug is $1000/pill...$20,000 a month (21 day supply). Really? oh, and #Pharma don't give me that coupon nonsense - just lower the darn price).
I just made my first 2022 purchase of Pomalyst 1mg--an oral Part D chemo drug.
My co-pay: $3,473.73.
The drug is over-priced & the Part D benefit structure makes it worse.
We must pass reforms now in Congress to:
Stop Price Gouging
Lower Out-of-Pocket
Let Medicare Negotiate
Another day brings more price hikes from big drug companies. In the first four days of 2022, Big Pharma has increased the prices of hundreds of drugs: https://t.co/7Pey3UHF4i
Under current law, a drug patent is supposed to last 20 years.
But, to extend the length of their exclusive monopolies, drugmakers stagger when they file new patents on existing drugs.
The result? The average patent protection for the 10 best-selling drugs in the US is 38 YEARS
In 2020, U.S. retailers lost approximately $700K per every $1B in sales to organized retail crime.
I am committed to tackling this issue head on, through shared solutions and teamwork w/ retail and law enforcement partners throughout CA.
This seems like a healthy shift, which will clean up some conflicts in the market.
But, it will also clarify that >90% of our national drug bill goes to drug manufacturers, pharmacies or hospitals/practices. There is no escaping the provider / producer pricing issue.
1 out of 3 Americans don't take their Rx as prescribed because they can't afford the medicine.
RT if you agree: Drug companies must be held accountable for charging outrageous prices.
Got my second dose of Moderna today. Getting vaccinated is one of the most important things we can do to fight COVID-19 and protect ourselves, our families and our neighbors. Thank you to Chailin at CVS and all the health care workers and volunteers getting CT vaccinated!
South Carolina Governor @henrymcmaster and @1stLadySC Peggy McMaster received their first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine on Monday morning:

List Price Matters! Negotiations start from that super high inflated #drugprice. The higher they start, the higher they remain for patients. And we know that almost 65% of brand drugs HAVE NO REBATE - so the list price IS the price. #LowerDrugPricesNow
PhRMA has new ads saying we shouldn't look at list prices of drugs. It's classic "blame someone else" misdirection.
List prices are the headwaters of the problem.
67% of Americans pay some or all of the cost of their drugs based on list price.
List prices matter & must come down.
