@gawrjuhsart Hello, sorry to take so long to respond, not been on Twitter much lately. We're taking a break from stuff while covid is ongoing. Hope all's well with you! 💜
UK Black Pride would like to encourage those who care about Black lives to delete their black squares and post useful, helpful, uplifting and empowering information and images that further the #BlackLivesMatter cause.
Our #DailyGroups continue as well as our 1:1 #WellbeingWalks which are proving popular and our youth workers are loving getting to see some of the young people face2face. Heres some of things we have been up to :)
This week is #MentalHealthAwareness week and we are loving seeing @JoshTaylorBoxer's post today about realising his dreams. Keeping active is so important for boosting your mental wellbeing. We really miss our weekly boxing sessions but our Yoga sessions continue online via Zoom.
Today for #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek we did a daily #KindnessMatters challenge. The young people blew us away with their kindness today.
One of the young people even delivered yummy treats to our Project Manager Lauren.
Keep spreading the kindness and love everyone.
This week is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek and we will be setting various challenges and activities around #KindenessMatters. What are you doing to support someone this week? Let us know. :)
Great to see this rolling out nationally @digiscot

For those who think I'm fixated on race let me just say this. As a African Caribbean woman I know the consequences of ignoring race issues and COVID-19 has highlighted to me that I must never be bullied into silence. Being pro Black does not make me anti white.
