@HolmanMackenzie I was in dance for a few years. But the cost of lessons, costumes, shoes, and travelling for competitions got too expensive. I also didn’t enjoy competing very much, so the costs were not justified in my mind.
@KIN110UofR Different ideas about sports come from the different ways individuals were raised. Family, communities, and culture all play a role. Some families value sport participation more than other families do. Access to sports changes a persons idea about sport as well.
@KIN110UofR I think that sports are activities that exert an individual physically and/or mentally. They are organized physical activities that have a competitive component, governed by rules/ regulations and results in rewards for those participating.
