🎗️ Today is Glioblastoma Awareness Day

Glioblastoma is the most commonly diagnosed high-grade primary brain tumour in adults. It grows rapidly, resists conventional treatment, and remains one of the hardest cancers to understand and overcome.

Our support on this day goes to all those living with and affected by Glioblastoma, whether they be patients, families or medical workers.

This day reminds us of the critical need for ongoing research, innovation, and collaboration in the search for better cancer treatments, especially for aggressive and difficult-to-treat diseases like glioblastoma

Facilities like LhARA are being developed to help us better understand how protons and other light ions affect complex tissues like the brain. By providing laser-driven particle therapy, LhARA provides the flexibility to help inform future treatments that are tailored to the needs of patients facing the toughest diagnoses.
