#19 Chocobo sage
Lots of little details on this, lots of perspective practice. The painting side of things again was just adding fairly basic transparent color, which is fine I suppose for this sort of thing. Getting close to the end of this notebook.

Complicated cylinders with weird perspective - there are a lot of errors with this one. Ref also has horrible lighting which didn't help the cross hatching, what I did ended up looking nearly as flat as the ref.

Did only basic line work to try a sunset again. I think the base gradient ended up pretty good but the clouds a bit less so. Every pigment behaves differently, along with brand choice and paper differences. There's a ton to learn here

Completely switched up the sky, I didn't really get the smooth gradient I wanted - need to practice skies. I didn't plan out the rubble very well, but I think each individual element looks alright.

Eh, this one was kinda a mess. Big dark block with no linework to give it form, and so many light sources that either smoothly blend or hard cut to black. Shouldn't have picked a reference like this I think.

Again got away from the ref but perspective keeps things looking alright. Tried doing more on the painting side on this, remixing colors constantly on each wash. There are problems but would be happy if I made this on an urban sketch.

Got a bit away from the reference with how I positioned things but I think the perspective is clean enough it still mostly works. Didn't really do much on the paint side of things beyond just coloring it, but not much on that side.
