Almost a year ago, I debated against using taxpayer money to fund the first religious charter school in the nation.

I raised concerns about the constitutionality and unintended consequences - if one religion gets taxpayer dollars, then all religions, like the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster and the Church of the Jedi, must receive the same treatment, right?

Now, the time has come for one of two lawsuits as Oklahoma's Supreme Court will hear arguments on April 2, 2024, at 10 am (livestreamed on the court's website.)

I hope the state's highest court rules against this attack on religious freedom and upholds the separation of church and state.
