Another name on the team sheet for next season as Liam Allison has also extended his stay at Broadwood until the end of the 2026/27 campaign!
Despite some misfortune with injuries last season, Liam managed 28 appearances and proved to be an important defensive player for 'Colts.
All of us at Cumbernauld Colts are pleased to see Liam return for another campaign as we prepare to take on new challenges in the Lowland League West!

BREAKING: WHOOP RAISES $575M AT $10.1B VALUATION
I am pleased to announce that we’ve raised $575M at a $10.1B valuation to accelerate our mission of unlocking human performance and healthspan globally.
This round was led by Collaborative Fund with participation from 2PointZero Group, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Mubadala Investment Company, Abbott, Mayo Clinic, Macquarie Capital, Glade Brook, B-Flexion, IVP, Foundry, Accomplice, Affinity Partners, Promus Ventures, and Bullhound Capital alongside a group of individual investors including Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, Rory McIlroy, Virgil van Dijk, and Mathieu van der Poel.
This investor group and this moment reflect a powerful evolution underway for Whoop and the broader healthcare market.
Whoop was born in performance - trusted by the best athletes in the world to train, recover, and compete at the highest level. That foundation remains core to who we are. You see that in the iconic athlete investors joining this round.
But it also represents our push into broader health.
In the past 12 months, WHOOP has received medical clearances, launched blood testing, and created a platform that has saved lives. Abbott and Mayo Clinic - two of the most respected and influential institutions in global healthcare - are now investors in Whoop. These are organizations that have shaped modern medicine. Their decision to partner with us is a clear validation of where our technology is headed.
Healthcare systems around the world are reactive. For too long, they have waited for people to get sick, then intervene. Chronic disease is rising and costs continue to climb.
At Whoop, we believe the future looks fundamentally different. We are building the most powerful, personal, preventive health platform in the world - powered by continuous biometric data, advanced analytics, and AI to help people understand their bodies and improve their health in real time.
I am grateful to our team, our members, and our partners for believing in this vision. I’ve been building this company for 14 years and I’ve never been more excited for the future.
Congratulations to Cumbernauld Colts who have reached this season's Lowland League Cup Final.
They will face the winners of tomorrow's semi-final between Gala Fairydean Rovers or Tranent on Sunday 22 March.
🌹🌹 SKIPPER SIGNS OFF 🌹🌹
After over 11 years at the club, Gary has decided to call time on his successful playing career so he can dedicate more time to his young family.
Gary joined the Rose in 2014 after spells at Stenhousemuir, Stirling Albion and East Fife.
Since then, he's established himself as a Linlithgow Rose legend and it goes without saying that we'll miss his leadership on the pitch and in the dressing room. On the pitch Gary was always a threat to opponents at set pieces but his intelligence, grit and determination set him apart as one of the best defenders we've had at the Rose.
As club captain, Gary has lifted two East of Scotland Cups, an East of Scotland League Cup and of course the East of Scotland Premier League trophy to secure a place in the Lowland League.
Above all though, Gary has been a credit to himself, his family, his team mates and all of the clubs he's represented and is held in the highest esteem by them all.
Good luck in whatever comes next Gary and thank you for everything you've done for Linlithgow Rose.
Gary will take to the pitch after tomorrow’s game against Hearts B and it would be great if you are able to stay on and give him a fitting send off.
Catchup TOTM for December chosen by the clubs and supporters.
Consisting of players from all 18 Lowland League teams - most players were selected based on December's performances, however, some have been included that have went under the radar so far this season. 👏👏
Catchup Team of the Month for November.
It's been all about the Rosey Posey recently as their 7 straight league wins sees them rise to second and back into contention. 🌹
Well deserved as always to those who have made it in. ⚽️
Catchup TOTM for February.
A decent run of league games for the majority of teams.
Liam Allison has been selected as team captain. The Linlithgow Rose defender returned to football after a year out through injury in December and has impressed at Colts during his loan spell. ⚽️
