I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
@FootyAccums the rule is 2 players have to be goal side of the attacking player and Haaland was clearly past Pope so Thiaws position was totally irrelevant in that decision, offside was correct
football twitter seeming to forget the offside rule as well as the commentators and refs. thiaw’s position was irrelevant as haaland was clearly past Pope meaning there wasn’t TWO players needed to prevent offside.
joshua’s career arc stunted tonight. milk him as far as he can go, get found out. revive him as the new joshua who can box and has an attitude, get found out. 😂 fury was the best by a mile until the freak usyk took over, thanks for coming
standard of international football is an all time low, the tournament has shown that. the squad we have we should be winning something yet, spain who no one batted an eyelid at with their awful squad and walked their way to the trophy. team/manager/tactics > egos/players
bellingham, ineffective everywhere he played, he couldn’t shoe horn foden into a team where we can’t play football and keep the ball. rice was bang average at best, mainoo set an example for the team. walker absolutely confirmed his career at top level is finished
harry kane englands top goalscorer, accolades after accolades, does not mean you cannot bring up he had a stinker of a tournament, held the team back so much but gareth suck ya dick southgate won’t take him off
gutting. but let’s not paper over cracks. southgate is still out of his depth massively. questionable team selections, terrible tactics and the reality we’ve barely made a final with the easiest draw possible. on paper we embarrass spain yet on a pitch, was men against boys
maino does rice’s job better than rice btw. rice scared to have the ball so just makes runs into positions where he can’t have it. saka’s movement shocking, doesn’t come or go so never an option
gallagher was never the answer. awful first half again, 10 mins deep into second half and we look a lot better with the right players in their position. maino or wharton would have improved this side
stinkers all over the pitch, the trent experiment doesn’t work. get bellingham back and foden in 10 who looked dangerous getting the ball centrally and give palmer/gordon a go out wide. team looks flat, negative and nervous and has to come from the manager
trent hiding, only good with acres of space pinging balls. get bellingham deeper running midfield, foden central and a proper left winger on instead of trent.
