So happy that many young people have been speaking up for @AloikinOpoloje!
While certain actions can cause fear, smart dictators know that too much of seeking fear can become counterproductive; don't seek for fear too much that you make people numb to it!

Lest the world forget forget, dictator Museveni's deranged son, Muhoozi, had comrade Eddie Mutwe abducted in April last year. Muhoozi later posted a photo of Eddie Mutwe, shirtless and appearing to bleed, boasting that he was teaching him Runyankore and using him as a punching bag. He added that I was next on his list.
Once the coward Muhoozi felt he had tortured Eddie enough, he sent him to jail where he remains to this day; denied bail everytime he has sought it. And yet Muhoozi still isn't satisfied. He is now threatening to hang Eddie Mutwe, and other NUP prisoners, "soon"! The good news is that we worship a Living God, and are taking whatever action we can to subdue this monster. Uganda will survive Museveni and his witless son, the same way it has survived every other tyrant before them!
Glad to see comrades Bobi Young and Saudah Madaada back home to their families after spending nearly 2½ years and 1 year, respectively, in jail on politically motivated charges.
Welcome back home comrades, and be sure that this painful sacrifice you have made for the sake of a better Uganda will be vindicated. Those who unjustly imprisoned you will one day be held to account for their crimes.
Dr. Kizza Besigye - an icon of our struggle, a pillar of resilience, and a true elder of the Ugandan liberation movement.
For decades, Dr. Besigye has consistently chosen conviction over comfort. He has remained steadfast and completely unyielding in the face of brutal persecution, multiple unlawful detentions, and constant threats to his life.
The Museveni regime continues to harass and torment him in the hope that they will break his spirit. Yet, through it all, he continues to stand firm - his spirit unbroken.
While we can never repay him for his enduring leadership and refusal to bow to tyranny, we can stand with him in his hour of need. I am grateful to our friends who have launched this solidarity campaign to raise funds for his welfare and mounting legal costs while he and his colleagues continue to languish in jail.
I encourage all of us to be part of this effort. Let us contribute whatever we can to support this cause. My wife @BarbieItungoK and I are making a modest contribution of UGX 5,000,000.
By standing together during these challenging times, we send a clear message to the regime: they can jail our bodies, but they can never jail our solidarity. Their attempts to throw us into disarray will not yield. Together, we shall overcome.
The events of these past days confirm one timeless truth - no one can escape the effects of impunity and lawlessness.
On Thursday night, a young, outspoken NRM apologist, Ivan Mwijukye, was intercepted by regime operatives in Mpigi while travelling by bus from Mbarara. He was abducted, and his whereabouts remain unknown - except that Museveni’s brutal son posted his picture on handcuffs!
Today, armed men in plainclothes brazenly stormed Radio Simba studios in Kampala and dragged Charles Rwomushana out of a live broadcast. His whereabouts remain unknown! (They join Matthew Bagonza, another NRM supporter who was abducted over a week ago and remains missing.)
Both men have always mocked and justified the brutal repression, torture, and enforced disappearances of our people. They have always victimised the victims of brutality in their public commentary.
But at this moment, when the criminal regime turns the machine of terror against them, we must take the higher moral ground. Our struggle is not for selective justice or personal vengeance. It is for the rule of law and the constitutional rights of every single Ugandan.
We unequivocally condemn these abductions and call for the release of these citizens. We know so well that Ivan's crime was questioning Museveni’s son's tribal bigotry, and Rwomushana's crime was comparing him to the Biblical prodigal son.
We must not stand by and condone this ridiculous clampdown on free expression. These criminals' intention is to silence everyone, but they are terrible students of history. Seeking to silence a nation through terror never wins in the end.
What more? I hope those who are still massaging the egos of these criminals can learn a few lessons and apply some breaks to their sycophancy. It is not hard to predict what awaits them, unless they work with everyone else to restore sanity and put an end to this madness.
We’ve walked through rose gardens and through hellfire, laughed until our stomachs hurt and cried until our eyes were red.
Through it all and yet still together and still choosing each other. Sometimes I wonder what I ever did to deserve a blessing like you.
One lifetime could never be enough for me to love you or to reward you for all that you have been to me. So I pray that God’s blessings follow you, our children and our grandchildren, through every generation.
Happy birthday, my dearest @BarbieItungoK .
I love you❤️
Leo Kavuma, Eddie Mutwe's young son, makes two years today. At the time of his father's abduction, torture and eventual incarceration, he was only 7 months old. Eddie has not had the joy of celebrating with him his first and second birthdays - for no crime whatsoever! Mulimba mutufuze bubi nnyo namwe. A very happy birthday young man. May you grow up in a better country than the one you were born in.
Crowns bowing to the pain of loss, but with unyielding collective resilience. No words can express what this image portrays in these very difficult times. May you find strength to endure the pain that comes with the loss of your beloved son and King.
Please be advised that the picture making rounds purporting to show Makindye East MP Hon. Ali Nganda Mulyanyama in a picture with Gen. Museveni is fake. Disregard it and treat with contempt.
