I lost my father in tragic circumstances when I was around the same age as Charlie Kirk’s daughter.
And I can say with absolute certainty that there is no pain like losing your dad.
To know that he will never get to see you grow up. To know you will never be able to hug him again, or sit in his lap, or be held in his arms.
That loss follows you everywhere. It shows up at graduations, at birthdays, on Christmas mornings. It lingers in the empty chair at family dinners. It cuts deepest during those ordinary, quiet moments when you wish you could just pick up the phone and hear his voice.
The world was robbed of Charlie Kirk. But, most tragically, his family was robbed of him.
From one fatherless daughter to another, my heart aches for his little girl.
I would not wish this kind of pain on anyone.
May she find comfort and strength in the knowledge that he is safe in God’s Kingdom, still loving and protecting them from above.
I just learned that Charlie's wife and children were there when he was shot. And his daughter tried to run to him, scared of the chaos.
I am shattered. And I am radicalized. We are truly at war with demons.
May God give the Kirks protection and refuge, and may God help us all.
Charlie Kirk didn’t deserve this. Nobody does regardless of their political views. He’s a husband with two young kids. It’s devastating.
The world we know continues to change on a daily basis. And it’s for the worse. Too many people wanting to stand by and think “oh it’s not that bad, stop being dramatic”
We’ve sleep walked into a world like this. This is what happens when you let others chip and chip away at your identity to appease others from being offended.
Over here it’s Christianity and Christian values and beliefs. It’s what the majority of us on here grew up with in Scotland and throughout the UK. Things like the BB’s, Sunday school, the Christmas nativity etc. You didn’t need to be religious but you respected it and it gave you good values and beliefs. It’s all but extinct now and other religions, views and beliefs have taken over.
Humans have existed for so long and it’s in the last 10 years that we have decided that men can be women, words hurt us, we can’t put up a flags celebrating our own country and people can be shot for different political views.
The left and the left media have allowed this world to exist.
A sad day.
