Calling on Burnley’s ex CEO as an impartial witness to give his opinion on whether Everton’s PSR breech yielded a sporting benefit to Burnley’s detriment
The Premier League eh?
Burnley are set to win their legal case against Everton against PSR breaches. Everton are set to pay Burnley circa £40m in damages, the toffees are expected to appeal 🔵

Draft a Premier League XI from random clubs and seasons. Build your team. Simulate the season.
Can you go 38-0?

Rooney & Gerrard are the only 2 players England have produced who can play in any position & you’d get consistent 7 or 8s out of 10 performances, wouldn’t look out of place.
I’ll die on this hill.
Ashley Cole is the only truly world class talent England has ever produced.
Criteria: top 5 of all time in his position.
(Before you shout at me, I never saw Bobby Moore etc play. And the era was incomparably different)
West Ham have 2 very good wingers there. Wouldn’t be the worst shout to offer to send Dibling to them on loan to bring the transfer fee down for either Summerville or Bowen
If hes got 3yrs left Id be saying give us another year& if we dnt get Europe then ur free to go, if we get Europe lets have another conversation. He cnt downstools cause 1) we know what hes capable of so itd be obvious & 2) no top side would touch him if his numbers arent showing
EXCL: Everton face a fight to keep hold of Iliman Ndiaye this summer. New contract(s) has been on table for months but remains unsigned
Forward has 3 years remaining on current deal, so #EFC in strong position. Desire to keep key man

Never watched him so cant say whether he’s any good or not but I would’ve thought that a CM is the last position we need- Gueye, Iroegbunam, KDH, Garner, Rohl, Alcaraz & Armstrong. Even if one leaves there’s still 6 in the match day squad, 5 if you loan Armstrong back out
Everton are working on a deal to sign Hayden Hackney from Middlesborough. The 23-year-old is attracting strong interest from several Premier League clubs, but Everton are working intensely to convince Hackney that Merseyside is the right step in his career 🔵
@YouBloodyReds Most metrics 😂 Finished above us once. Been bottom 5 every other year. Let’s not get carried away. Not saying he won’t leave Everton, but not a single person sees Forest as a step up from Everton. He leaves for Europe, not 16th or below
Yes please.
Wished we got him from Marseille. Wanted him from Blades but he wanted that dream OM move at the time.
Would suit that narrow role behind a CF perfect.

@YouBloodyReds Well in, 1 anomaly season. Highest league finish every other season in the top flight this century- 16th. 20 of the last 24 seasons outside the prem, Everton- 0👍🏼 try again
🚨BREAKING: Henry Nowak's father speaks out on the murder of his son:
"He told officers he could not breathe NINE TIMES, he said he had been stabbed FOUR TIMES, but the officer replied saying' 'I don't think you have, mate.'"
What a brave man.
🚨🎙️Ian Wright on Matvey Safonov's towel for the TAB session during the penalty shootout in the champions league final against Arsenal:
“I’m sorry, but this has to be looked at properly. What Matvey Safonov did with that towel is straight-up cheating. Full stop.
“if we’re being consistent, football cannot pick and choose when information gathering is acceptable. We saw clubs investigated over scouting and intelligence-gathering scandals before. So explain to me the difference here.
You’ve got a PSG goalkeeper sitting there with a full tactical cheat sheet tucked into his towel, player names, numbers, flags, penalty tendencies, instructions like ‘FRAPPE FORT’, ‘SLOW SKIPPING’, ‘TAB 90’, the lot. He’s got Gyökeres, Kai Havertz, the works mapped out like it’s an open-book exam. This isn’t preparation, this is espionage in plain sight during a European tie against Arsenal.
“We’re not talking about instinct, preparation, or reading body language. We’re talking about a physical reference sheet being available during the shootout.
“If Southampton can face scrutiny over ‘spygate’ accusations, then UEFA should at least examine this as well. Either gathering opponent information is part of modern football or it isn’t. The rules cannot change depending on who wins the trophy.
“People will say, ‘Every club does penalty research.’ Fine. Do the research. But where is the line? Can you carry databases onto the pitch? Can coaches feed information every kick? Can players walk around with scouting reports in their socks?
“The problem isn’t PSG. The problem is consistency. Arsenal lose a Champions League final and suddenly everyone says it’s smart preparation. If Arsenal had won with a goalkeeper carrying a detailed PSG penalty guide, I guarantee half of Europe would be demanding an investigation.
“UEFA doesn’t even need to punish anyone. Just tell us clearly what is and isn’t allowed. Because if this is completely legal, then every goalkeeper in Europe will be turning up to penalty shootouts with a cheat sheet the size of a textbook next season.”
The @friedkingroup need to take a leaf out of Bournemouth’s book @ act. O’Neil had met his targets for the season but they got rid & brought Iraola in just because he was available&could take them to the next level. We need to do the same&get Glasner in before he gets snapped up
I honestly think he was one of the better players every time he played, bar once. I don’t think you get better for £20m. Fast, always looks to beat his man, good crosser, raises the energy & speed of attacks
⚽ Everton can't decide whether to sign Tyrique George permanently.
That indecision is a verdict in itself. If a winter loan winger hasn't convinced you by late May, he probably hasn't. Moyes will draw his own conclusions.
