@derppony14 You are much better off without them anyway. People like that do not deserve good people like you. We are here for you, the ones that truly love and care for you. π
No-one should be ashamed for liking and enjoying something that most people would hate or dislike. Enjoying media that's not popular makes u different and special. It means you won't have to accidently drown yourself with all the toxic idiotic fandoms surrounding everything.
I just finished the last episode of MLP, and I have to say that I enjoyed the second half of season 9 a lot more and the ending was very lovely and bittersweet. I don't know why I fell in love with this show, but it has truly impacted me in ways I didn't expect. Maybe it is my lack of maturity, but this seemingly inconsequential show aimed at kids has given me more joy and meaning than most shows, including anime, that I have watched. Maybe it was the combination of watching this at this time in my life, with my own real-life problems and worries that I felt were reflected in this show, but I truly fell in love with most of the characters, especially the mane 6 ponies; the humor is great and it is a wholesome show with a great core message. I give it a 10/10; regardless of my personal experiences, I think the show is genuinely good and I recommend it to everyone who hasn't seen it. Don't let yourself be put off by thinking it's just a show for kids and weirdos; believe me, I thought that as well before some good friends of mine showed me a couple of episodes and I was willing to give it a try!
