By chance, I came across this Spanish Civil War memorial on the banks of the Thames near Putney Bridge. It commemorates British citizens who died fighting for the Spanish Republic against Franco as part of the international brigade. Is there an equivalent memorial in Ireland?

When international law applies to some but not to others, this is hypocrisy and double standards.

The @EU_Commission & @vonderleyen are staying silent on the @CIJ_ICJ South Africa genocide case against Israel, despite its support for Ukraine in its proceedings before the same court in 2022.

International law must be upheld in all circumstances.
