@MattHancock Nurseries are not taking on new babies until sept/oct and keyworkers cant be furloughed. We have no childcare so are forced to resign!

It seems a "reasonable request" to extend Statutory Maternity Pay given the impact coronavirus is having on new parents.

@Rylan They have already explained the reason for this!! There’s temptation if you have family over to your house your more likely to come in close contact & spread the virus! Your able to met your mum in a public place if you chose to do so!

@Rylan Most off us haven’t had family in the house. Everyone’s circumstances are different some more exceptional then others. Doesn’t mean we have to witch-hunt an individual. Why don’t people in the public eye concentrate and use there time to help us get through this together!

@Rylan It’s not compulsory to send your child back- every parent gets a choice and if you decide not too. You aren’t getting fined. some parents are keys workers and there wasn’t room at the beginning for their child/children. this will enable some to go back to work.
