We finished up our last track practice of the year with the traditional game of "sharks and minnows." We are looking forward to our last meet on Monday. City Championships at DMS. Field events start at 3:00, running at 4:00.

Our distance crew had a great day at the Grandview invite. Luke S (4:59) is the first to break the 5:00 barrier since @ryanmata24 and Drew Plum in 2016. Luke also finished 3rd in the 400 and anchored the 4 x 400. Dawson H was 3rd in the 800. Great work!

Outstanding performances at Grandview for the girls. Lily H and Addy dominate the 1600 & 800, finishing 1-2 in both events. Lily O and Harper went 2-3 in the 400, and Lily O also was 1st in the high jump. Lily H is the current school record holder in both the 1600 & 800!

Our 4 x 400 relays had a great day at the Grandview "A" invitational. Both teams won first place with outstanding group efforts!

Congrats to Harper, Lily H, Addy, and Lily O for SMASHING the school record in the 4 x 400. Their time of 4:14.71 beat the 2017 time of 2:20 by E Rogers, M Gaona, A Maloney & K Minette. Amazing work girls!

There will be no 8th track practice tomorrow (Thurs) due to temps and wind. We started early, so we are still two days ahead! Our first two days were great! We will communicate a decision for Friday ASAP. Parents, please check your email for more info about our season!
