You should fire your publicist, this is a terrible statement. Honestly, you’d have been better off saying nothing. As a former PR pro, I can tell you this - you needed to come out of the gate strong and apologize to your customer base for abandoning and disrespecting them, first and foremost - secondly you owe an apology to women for mocking them with that stunt. Also, you should have demoted, re-trained, or fired the marketing VP who signed off on the transvestite campaign. Clearly that woman doesn’t understand branding or brand loyalty. She either needs training on basic brand management or she should be relived from her post, and that decision should have been part of the apology statement. This was an “all hands on deck” PR nightmare, and your weak statement actually made the situation worse. You’re losing billions of dollars and millions of customers in order to appease a very small percentage of people who don’t even buy your product. Insanity. Your can’t operate a successful business from a place of fear. Grow a set and stand up for your customers. You’re the KING of beer, not the queen. Act like it.

I Love @JrLibraryGuild books and order regularly from them. This is a wonderful free eBook and audio book platform that can be used on our district's laptops and offers books for all ages. I know when I recommend a a book supplied by them, it is well-written.
