ok I managed to follow back most people who followed me in the last few days BUT
I won't request to follow most priv accounts, only if there's enough info in the bio or smth for me to see and while I won't SB you, if you're from SH/EDtwt I won't follow back just to avoid getting+
arguably the worst part of being debilitatingly mentally ill or mentally ill in general is how difficult it is to talk about in detail without sounding like a complete and utter goofball. yeah the macarena triggers my cptsd are you for eel right now are you sealrious
it just occurred to me that the reason singlets might have a hard time understanding a system having multiple sexuality labels for different alters is that maybe they don't understand that our sexuality literally does change. it's not that the attraction you feel stays the same +
@atlasm0m3nts exactly. it's not like the body has some innate sexuality, like you're always bisexual but have that one alter that calls herself a lesbian just for the vibes or simply prefers women (what I assume they think)
I wasn't going to keep talking about this because I do not like involving myself in discourse on this account, but it literally just occurred to me when reading someone else's tweet on my timeline and I had to share
ofc this is not everyone's experience, but it is mine and I know from posting about it here (and even reddit) that a lot of people relate. and it's precisely what leads *us* to have different alters use different labels
@moonymarss exato, no máximo sao palavras que uma pessoa de fora do grupo deve evitar de usar casualmente, mas principalmente num contexto em que se está a perguntar ou falar do significado e história não há problema. mas lá tem outro peso
I really need singlets to stop talking about systems. there ARE people with "right-leaning alters" and overall views that go against what the rest of the system believes. but most people won't be open about that, especially not on fucking twitter because it makes us feel like +
@LibbielSystem Part of the nature of being a system is having different perspectives and values and sometimes those different perspectives and values lead to different conclusions. It can be really hard to work with when/if that happens especially when those conclusions are illogical/cruel
I'm also going to add, just in case, that I am not saying this justifies any harmful acts done by a system with such alters. system accountability is a thing, and the marginalized groups affected by said actions and words are more important than your own comfort +
