‘There's no event in our history books that combines the current global population with the impending fertilizer shortage and the strength of the El Nino that's coming. We are about to witness an unprecedented event that will push crops around the globe to their limit.’
@AmberWoods100 My dad had a massive left side stroke after a horse kicked him. I was 20. He was a geologist who worked for the Bureau of Mines in the Rocky Mountains. He was 45 and lived 34 years more with all the left brain damage. My sympathy and understanding.

So that’s why I was largely absent during those years. And it’s also why I approach my reporting from a trauma-informed, survivor-focused perspective.
Some experiences change not only how you see the world, but what you feel responsible for once you’ve seen it.
FBI records obtained through a Judicial Watch lawsuit reveal that a Butler County Sheriff’s deputy exchanged two emails with Trump shooter Thomas Crooks before the July 13, 2024 assassination attempt. The records remain heavily redacted, concealing the nature of the communications. The documents also reveal a SWAT officer recovered a cell phone and a remote device with an antenna from Crooks after he was killed.
Remember when Hunter Biden was found guilty of raping a woman in a department store dressing room and then also found guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up his affair with a porn star? Because I don't

Rivers around the world are quietly running out of oxygen, and climate change is emerging as the main culprit. A sweeping global analysis of more than 21,000 river systems found that nearly 80% have been steadily losing dissolved oxygen over the past four decades, threatening fish, biodiversity, and the overall health of freshwater ecosystems. Tropical rivers are being hit the hardest, even more than rivers in rapidly warming polar regions.

If I had a ridiculous amount of money, I’d be calling mortgage companies and paying off people’s homes. I’d be calling hospitals and clearing medical debt.
I genuinely don’t understand the appeal of hoarding billions while so many people are struggling. What’s the point of having all that money if you’re not using it to make people’s lives better?
fun fact. this cutter is designed for disabled people. a lot of things we use on the daily (eg: ramraj velcro veshtis, magnet knife holders etc) are all invented for disabled ppl. increasing accessibility for disabled ppl makes the world a better place for everybody
Ernest Hemingway
