@CateSask As an Ontarian, I’m happy with the percentage on the separation issue. Having said that, there are issues about revenue and immigration that have to be addressed. The Feds. have to really look at Transfers & Asylum/Refugee rules, temporary migrant labour and general Immigration?

Some changes to various guardrails in the 80’s & 90’s planted the seeds that grew into the problems identified in 2008 and after COVID. I assert theses are what lead to a K shaped economy?

@kinsellawarren Right now the Provincial government has more influence on municipalities than do their Mayors? Municipal budgets don’t allow for much imagination after all the bills have been paid and strong powers don’t help, for if they did, bike lanes wouldn’t be being removed.

I wasn’t hers when I lived there and disagreed with some of her platforms but, I never thought she was shallow or insincere. Some others just want a popular gig!

@Anarello9999 @daleethompson When I lived in TO I couldn’t stand her or her husband on Council. I was angered by their lobbying about the Gardiner. I’m no leftist but, in fairness, I think she believes in helping people, I think she’s sincere in trying to help the less fortunate, ie Public Service!
