@LIBERIANREDCROSS We work with people in humanitarian crises to ease their sufferings and bring hope to them. Today we are happy to celebrate #WorldHumanitarianDay with a theme: #TheHumanRace. Congratulations to all humanitarian actors for their services to humanity.
We’ve to face multiple crises from #CoVID-19 to #Measles and #flooding. Several communities have been flooded after heavy rainfall. We are on the ground assessing the immediate needs of affected communities and support is urgently needed to mitigate the impact and basic needs.
@LIBERIANREDCROSS Helping to pull out a ten tyre truck from a muddy deep hole with our land cruiser was challenging and risky but we’re proud to clear the way for an ambulance with a patient to continue its journey.🫂https://t.co/584kcL0u4w
@LIBERIANREDCROSS We’re creating awareness for mass #measlesvaccination especially for people at higher risk such as unvaccinated children under five, pregnant and lactating women, the elderly, and people with special needs. Thanks @EU_Commision for the support through the #ifrc.
@LIBERIANREDCROSS Today we celebrated world #redcrossday with emphasis on kindness. Even when the world is facing so many crises, acts of kindness are all around us. No matter how big or small, they make a huge difference in people's lives. Believe in the #powerofKindness.
We’re deeply saddened for those injured from the #NewKruTown#stampede. We’re grateful you’re alive and recovering speedily. Don’t lose hope. Be stronger for the experience.
My friends at @LiberiaRedCross are hard at work alleviating suffering. With COVID and lockdowns each night, a complex environment to be operating in - excellent work.
