OLODOS UP RISING

It was my first day as a corps member (teacher) at Glory Field Academy, Okada, Edo State.

When I arrived at the school, I noticed that most of the buildings were made of wood. It wasn’t bad at all; in fact, the environment looked quite beautiful in its own way.

If you don’t have someone to push you, push yourself. If no one is there to encourage you, encourage yourself. Create opportunities for yourself, seek knowledge relentlessly, and never stop supporting your own growth.

The teacher and I were quite close. He ran into the staff room shouting, “Corper Tobi! This girl said you’re her best teacher and her mentor!”
I simply smiled. I couldn’t say a word.

Other teachers had also noticed the gradual transformation in her,

I encouraged her to do even better and to continue attending school regularly. She nodded in agreement.

Trust me, I never abandoned my method. I continued encouraging her throughout JSS2, and she kept improving daily.
