I just finished creating a short feature video with AI. I approached it from an Art direction point of view and gave it an art touch.
I will be posting it later today.
Anyone curious to see how it came out?
@rirahcreates Anyway, if you don’t see it then it’s okay. It’s your work 😂😂
you will grow as a creative if you allow criticism and take it positively. We all learn from each other.
@ssekaggoerick76@mkainerugaba Look where that got us. Sometimes an iron hand and force is needed for things to move. Do you know how many roads are supposed to be built but were never built. The Entebbe express highway is the most expensive in the world but does it look like it? 😂
@hayzweb3@comfortfajugbag The delusion of “building in build” is it blinds you from actual growth. You’re just chasing a dopamine of approval and a desire to be seen. Get to a level where you can do the best work but don’t need to chase approval for it.
@hayzweb3@comfortfajugbag People are not posting their failures. The real work is behind the scenes and not seen. I urge you to look for AI ads and films. Start with a guy called Kavan the kid on YouTube. My point is don’t wait for people to correct you, work in secret, let the public see your results.
@deejaykalz_ And ministry of finance. I have an uncle who used to work in ministry of finance last year. Guy used to move with big bags of cash in he’s boot. He used that money to oppress others in my village, grabbing land, bribing authorities and escaping justice from he’s deeds 😂😂
@KnotOnGame True. Even just the content produced by AI has to really be good for it to not be cringe. Most videos I see are always off in audio, the character reaction and physics with the environment is normally off too, story is off. Look at this video. It wasn’t just Ai. It’s was edited.
I think it’s how AI is used. I can show you AI ads that don’t even look AI. Most creators actually use AI badly or in an amateur way. They are still very excited.
If a restaurant uses an AI generated image of a burger on their menu, I can never trust the outcome of such an order.
AI shouldn’t be used for brand images or ads. It’s better suited as an operational support tool.
Created this with flow ai and VEO.
And edited with premiere pro.
To give me better control on my story and visuals, I always use AI like a camera operator.
Then do editing, sound design and color grading myself to give it a cinematic look.
@BasitOriola Very wired. Normally what I do. I create shots and then edit everything again from scratch my own way. I do the sound design, story flow etc.
@donnywomacck Wrong thinking. You can build campaign visuals with AI. And they are still unique. We do it faster now. It’s just a tool. The output is as good as the person using the tool. And it’s actually hard and takes skill to build exceptionally good visuals with AI. You need art direction
@NabaasaInnocent These work well for cheap clients. Those who don’t mind. AI is helping us filter all those cheap clients who don’t value design and creativity. So anyone who reaches out to build their brand will always know the value of good design and creative thinking
What makes those videos very good is the creators have a very strong foundation in film making. Even when using AI, you can’t be as good if you don’t understand the principles of cinematography and story telling. AI is just a tool. The output is as good as the user’s knowledge.
