We’ve identified extensive artisanal gold workings, visible gold, quartz veining, basement shearing and hydrothermal alteration during maiden fieldwork at our Oko North Project in Guyana’s +9Moz Oko gold district.
A maiden systematic soil geochemical program of approximately 5,000 samples is underway, with 55 rock chip samples collected and submitted for assay. High-resolution satellite imagery is also being collected to define and map the extensive workings and structural architecture across the Project.
These early field results confirm the prospectivity of Oko North and validate $LIB’s exploration strategy as we advance the Project towards the definition of maiden drill targets.

We’ve appointed accomplished #gold geologist Travis Schwertfeger as Non-Executive Director as we advance our maiden exploration campaign at the Oko North and Oko South Gold Projects in Guyana.
Travis brings +25 years of global exploration and development experience across gold and #copper projects, including six years leading gold exploration in Guyana and more than seven years with Newmont Mining Corporation.
His combination of on-the-ground Guyanese exploration leadership and orogenic gold expertise is ideally suited to Oko North and Oko South in the +9Moz Oko gold district.
Travis is currently Managing Director of Many Peaks Minerals and previously served as a director of Exore Resources, which was acquired by Perseus Mining in 2020 following rapid resource growth at the Bagoé Gold Project.
Welcome to the Liberty Board, Travis.

Tylah Tully looks at @LibertyMetals_ maiden exploration at its newly acquired Oko North and South projects in Guyana’s Cuyuni Mining District, where around 9Moz of #gold has been discovered within the past five years. https://t.co/33zc9gikCv #ASX $LIB
We’ve commenced maiden exploration at our recently acquired Oko North and Oko South #Gold Projects in Guyana’s Cuyuni Mining District, our first field campaign following completion of the acquisition of a 90% interest in the district-scale ~180km² package.
Field teams have mobilised, with geological mapping, structural interpretation and surface sampling underway, initially targeting the numerous existing artisanal gold workings across the tenure.
A maiden systematic soil geochemical program of approximately 5,000 samples is planned to commence shortly, with Portable PPB engaged to analyse surface samples in-field using pXRF and DetectORE™ technology, expediting assay turnaround and enabling real-time assessment and prioritisation of drill targets.
The maiden exploration program is fully funded following our recently completed A$5.0M institutional-led placement in addition to existing prior cash reserves.

We're signed a binding four-year option agreement to acquire a 90% interest in the Oko North and Oko South Gold Projects in Guyana, covering approximately 180km² across 40 granted medium-scale mining permits. Located within the +9Moz Oko gold district, one of the world’s most significant emerging gold camps, the Projects are considered to be in the early stages of their discovery cycle, presenting significant potential for further exploration and growth.
To support this next phase, Liberty has secured firm commitments for an A$5.0 million share placement, providing funding for exploration and growth initiatives.
Fieldwork is already underway, with data compilation, geological mapping and a maiden geochemical sampling program set to commence immediately, targeting priority areas for future drilling.
Liberty Metals Director and Non-Executive Chair, Nick Katris, commented:
“The acquisition of the Oko North and Oko South Projects delivers Liberty a district-scale footprint in what has quickly become one of the most exciting gold camps in the world. In under five years the Oko district has gone from a greenfields address to more than 9 million ounces of gold, a completed feasibility study, and a C$3 billion consolidation by G Mining Ventures. That is a level of value creation very few districts anywhere have matched.
What makes this opportunity so rare is the ground itself. Guyanese permits are granted in small blocks held by private citizens, so assembling 40 permits across roughly 180 square kilometres in two consolidated blocks, positioned to the north and south of the Oko deposits, is something that simply cannot be readily replicated. At Oko North we sit directly against the G2 ground, and at Oko South we see the same greenstonebelt rocks and the same structural corridor that host the Oko discoveries continuing south into our ground. None of it has ever been systematically explored with modern techniques.
Our approach will be disciplined and methodical. The immediate focus is compiling the historical data, mapping the structural architecture and running our maiden geochemical programs to generate drill targets. Our neighbours have shown exactly what early-stage geochemistry on this trend can convert into, and we look forward to updating shareholders as we advance towards a maiden drilling campaign.”

@LibertyMetals_ has unveiled district-scale rare earths potential at its Paraiba #rutile and #monazite project in #Brazil, with assays from reconnaissance sampling returning high-grade mineralisation. https://t.co/7kbr4JNjPe #ASX $LIB
We’ve identified high-grade #monazite mineralisation at our 100%-owned Paraiba #Rutile and Monazite Project in Brazil, with assays indicating the presence of a high-grade “Monazite-Enriched Granite” system.
Laboratory analysis of Sample 0085/25 returned 12.99% Cerium Oxide (CeO₂), 5.99% Lanthanum Oxide (La₂O₃) and 4.69% Neodymium Oxide (Nd₂O₃), with Neodymium and Praseodymium accounting for ~20% of the Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO).
Immediate mobilisation of a high-resolution airborne radiometric survey will map the granitic source, followed by auger drilling to define the regolith-hosted resource potential.
