@AmericanAir Yeah I saw, it basically said, “Your flight is now a full 24 hrs delayed, sorry!” You forgot to mention the part where you’ve held us hostage by refusing to give us back our luggage. When you have a solution, feel free to send another DM. Sorry doesn’t cut it.

Oh hey, @AmericanAir, getting close to 24 hours that you’ve held my family hostage at PHL and refused to return our luggage to us. We are traveling with a child under three. Tell me how that is in any way acceptable. Still zero compensation.

Oh and currently there are THREE flights with our same flight number on the board. Pretty sure that’s not allowed either! Can’t wait for the lawsuits.

During this entire time I have yet to receive a single email or text from @AmericanAir about our flight, despite having signed up for updates on both. This is perhaps the worst travel experience I’ve had to date, and those of you who know me know I’ve had some doozies.

Had an @AmericanAir flight last night at 6:30pm outta Philly. Flight gets delayed till 7:30pm due to “mechanical issues.” No biggie.

Then 7:30pm comes and goes, and we are told the flight is delayed until 6:30am the next morning.

So basically @AmericanAir is holding our luggage hostage (and consequently us too). Meanwhile we are trying to wrangle an almost-3-year-old who has had zero sleep.

Made the mistake of shipping overnight via .@UPS... paid over $84 on Thurs morning & was told it was guaranteed except in cases of extreme weather. Well apparently that means weather conditions anywhere in the world, not in the package's route. Still hasn't arrived. No refund.
