@b11_megan Same thoughts here. What's the practical solution? Even if you stop selling AR-15s, there are 30m of them in circulation. At least. Assuming you aren't going to go door to door collecting them, what else can you do?
@chgoggin All fair, but what does "limit the sale" really do? Best count, there are at least 30m AR15s in the USA. One for every 11 people. Easy to say the guns are the problem, much harder to make a practical proposal to solve it. Feels like mental health might be the easier road.
@chgoggin I don't disagree. But, as a practical matter, how do we get the toothpaste back in the tube? Do we go door to door and collect AR-15s? Ban them and hope people willingly turn them in? Millions upon millions of guns already in circulation. What's the plan?
It's utterly extraordinary that those that spent the last several years seeing "Nazis" everywhere they looked suddenly can't see them amongst the antisemitic, genocidal murderers of Jews and their supporters.
@thewanreport Mate, you're portraying him as a predator without even trying.
You know why?
Because men who force themselves into women's single sex spaces ARE fucking predators.
You and him can go fuck yourselves.
Women said NO.
@RealHousewifeMi@cut4nil@Riley_Gaines_ By that same logic, it doesn't make sense to ever have an event to generically support "gay rights" or "trans awareness". According to you, unless a specific right for a specific person is being encroached then you're just looking for attention. Actually, come to think of it...
THIS is how parents need to show up to games/races/meets when their daughters have a male competing alongside them.
Good on these parents for defending their daughters. The tide is turning! 🌊
The gender critical "myth" that sex is binary and immutable in humans is not a myth, but an evolutionary fact.
What "myth" did you debunk in this piece?
Do you mean the fact that there are only two sexes across the vast diversity of life--male and female?
The fact that the two sexes have existed for more than one billion years?
The fact male and female bodies are organized according to different functions?
The fact there are more than 6000 gene expression differences between males and females?
The fact that testosterone and estrogen are produced in vastly different amounts between the sexes, specialized for important functions across the bodily tissues?
The fact that being male provides an immense advantage to sports performance over females?
The fact that people with disorders of sex development are either male or female?
The fact that trans people cannot change their sex because they are not clownfish?
The fact that taking cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers has a host of detrimental and permanent effects to the body, inducing a developmental disorder and not a sex change?
What other facts would you like to "debunk"? I didn't see your points backed up by any scientific evidence, mostly just emotional appeals. We have the scientific literature on our side, and I'd be happy to link to any of the primary literature if you'd like to learn more.
It's always the same story.
Anyone who thinks trans-identifying males competing in women's sports is fair, please show me ONE example of a female ranking higher against the men at a competitive level than she did in the women's category.
🧵"Transition has one of the lowest regret rates of any surgery."
First, that research has loss-to-followup rates of 20% to 60%. There's no reason to believe that these people stopped communicating with their clinics because they were happy with their treatments. Second, those studies focused on adults who were carefully screened as opposed to children caught up in the gender craze and pushed through treatments quickly because of our affirmative care model. Third, and most important, these studies defined regret very narrowly as a request for a legal document change or a request to care at the same facility. The most recent studies showed 30% discontinue treatment. https://t.co/3EiHT6kzN0
The actual number is, of course, zero. Literally zero, because the male and female reproductive organs develop in utero from same tissue. In some ultra-rare cases people have mixed tissues, but literally no one has both sets of reproductive organs
No, that's incorrect. No human has ever had both sets of functioning reproductive organs. Humans are sexually dimorphic, not hermaphroditic.
All humans are either male or female, and the percentage of babies who require further investigation to accurately categorize them because of unclear genitalia is 0.18%, not 2.0% or 1.7%. https://t.co/Jz4qj00VIw
If you think that women have penises, I won’t believe a single word you say about anything else.
Because if you will lie about something so obvious, I will assume you lie about everything.
The news outlet that calls women TERFs, bigots & won’t accurately report on the “gender ideology” issue did a poll only to find out that the vast majority of their readers agree with us. 🙋♀️

@billybragg You accept a man wearing a dress a hell of a lot more than you accept a women wearing a dress, as you wouldn’t dare criticize men who wear dresses but can’t wait for any opportunity to criticize women, proving that you know exactly who is a woman and who is not.
Neil DeGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson) is misinformed and willfully ignorant on this topic.
He claims that Semenya is a genetic female with naturally high testosterone. But this is false.
Not only does Semenya have XY chromosomes, but also has "make-male" genes like SRY, which differentiated the gonads into normal testes. These testes produce male-typical levels of testosterone (15-20x higher than a female) that the body then receives across development, masculinizing the physiology. This provides the male advantage for Semenya.
Semenya has 5-alpha reductase deficiency, which causes a deficiency in a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
DHT is the hormone that finalizes the male's external genital development. Lack of this hormone results in genitals at birth that look more female-like. However, the rest of the male's development is normal, including their functioning testes. At puberty, enough T is produced to continue the masculinization of the external genitalia.
Thus, it is not about people being "weirded out" about a female with high T. It's about people rightfully wanting males to be out of female sports, including those males with sex development disorders who still benefit from androgenizing male puberty.
See the sex development chart below for 5-ARD.
