I realize #F1TV commentators may not be familiar with American racing, but the SAFER barrier was not a NASCAR project. It was developed under contract with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy Racing League #DutchGP #F1

@IndyCar @Race_Portland Now that IndyCar is now the Red Headed Stepchild on Fox, Maybe @IndyCar and @FOXSports can publish their plans for alternate channels in case of golf or ping pong or curling being more important than the premier racing series. That way we could set our DVR’s on lower tier tv.

@wbuxtonofficial FWIW In American racing tradition there has been for years a tradition of “Promoters Choice” to get a fan favorite into a race. So there is a way to get Jacob into the race.
