@EssexLibraries Once again, if the problem is that people are not picking up reservations, why are you punishing everyone? Why can't you place a charge on people's records when they place the hold, and then waive it when they collect the book(s)? This is how other library systems have tried it.

@DrLancaster @ratlpolicy Last week I was at a conference, where I attended sessions from 9.30am - 4pm, three days running. I was exhausted, and couldn't read my own book in the evening. I wonder if the students feel the same - they just can't take any more information in.

@EssexLibraries It's great that we can get ILLs from other libraries (outside Essex).But - you don't put your own labels in these books, so sometimes I don't know that I got them from YOU. I belong to more than one library service that does ILLs from other services...
