Welcome the first week back after the holidays Alford Academy. Our first-year pupils have been taking part in a Halloween Book Tasting activity. You can come and see their Halloween Book Menus in the library.
Kicking off the Halloween mood in Alford Academy with Halloween Book Tasting sessions for our first year pupils. Our students created their own Halloween Bistro menus by choosing books from Mystery, Thriller, Horror, Fantasy and Dystopia genres.
We had so much fun trying our hand at Book Spine Poetry with our first-year pupils that even Academy Staff got drawn into it! This is Mrs BM's attempt:
