The little girl who lived at the library never could have dreamt of this day but here it is: Dear Librarian by Lydia M. Sigwarth with illustrations by Romina Galotta is now available on bookstore (and Library!!) shelves everywhere. Happy Reading💛 https://t.co/2g2gJH4vwP
Agatha made it all the way to 13, and I know we were lucky to have her with us for 6 of them, but still wasn’t enough.
I will miss you forever my sweet girl.
She also has a sassy diva side. We called her “The Queen” because she has very specific ideas about how things should go and likes to show her displeasure when they don’t. She was a grand old dame was never happier than when she got to lay on the couch and nap the day away.
Today an elderly woman told me what I do is “magnificent” and I just wanted to pass it on to all the other librarians out there:
I know it’s hard to be a librarian these days, but remember that Josephine thinks you’re ✨magnificent✨

If showering backwards means you’re neurodivergent
and showering forwards means you’re neurotypical
what does it mean when you shower while slowing rotating in a circle like a soapy rotisserie chicken? 🧐
I need walking-around-Europe shoes for my trip that are:
1) really good arch support (I’m old)
2) breathable (trip is in August)
3) slip-on (not a deal breaker if I like the shoes enough)
Please give me all the recs you’ve got!
@pietro_guiotto I’ve got some Tevas right now, still just looking for a shoe to alternate with, and something more substantial for the cobblestones, with the heat breathability will be key!
Where I’m from in the midwest we do have really humid summers so I’m hoping it not too big of a shock
@kategalliett@postrestinst Thanks for your insight! Is there anything between slip-on and a full lace up? I’m okay with it not being slip-on as long as the laces aren’t intensive and it’s breathable
