Happy tears in the library! Reading Madeline Finn and the Library Dog with a first grade class and we got to the big climax of the story (puppies!). One little boy, eyes streaming with tears, says, "Ms. C, I'm so happy that I think I'm crying?! What is happening to me?!"
I walked away from today's PD day with a head full of ideas, a heart full of inspiration and a book that I'm excited to read (just as soon as I can get it out of my daughter's hands!). Thank you @MNPSLibraries and @MrSchuReads!
My sincere thanks to @MNPSLibraries and @LimitlessLib for the wonderful drive through appreciation event yesterday. Not only did you brighten my day, but you also gave me exactly what I needed this drizzly morning!
"I almost cried because it made me so happy!" said a kindergarten student today during our Then and Now lesson about some Sylvan Park students who planted a little magnolia tree in 1958. Because of them, our entire community gets to enjoy today!
Thank you, @GAHardaway & @LindsKAnderson, for standing up to @johnrich. @BigKennyTV, tell your business partner to stand down. Heโs debasing himself & endangering librarians. This is serious. https://t.co/C0duevNaE6
I'm delighted to share Episode 19 of the Language Neuroscience Podcast, with the brilliant Keith Josephs, discussing his groundbreaking work on the neuropathological underpinnings of progressive speech and language disorders. #ApraxiaOfSpeech@MayoClinic
