Andy, you were soundly beaten fairly and squarely by Jeremy Corbyn in the 2015 Labour leadership contest. Soon afterwards, you left the PLP and Corbyn’s front bench to pursue your own ambitions. Over the next four years, Corbyn was subjected to the most malicious vitriol that I’ve seen directed at a British politician, never mind party leader. I was just wondering, did you ever speak out against the relentless lack of decency and hate directed at Corbyn at that time?

@Keir_Starmer should remember how Jeremy Corbyn was treated before asking anyone to feel sympathy for him. @jeremycorbyn endured years of relentless briefings, internal sabotage, media attacks and what he himself described as “an hour of abuse” at meetings from people inside his own party who could never accept a genuinely socialist leader. Instead of uniting Labour, Starmer and his allies helped create an atmosphere where betrayal became normal, loyalty was punished and factional warfare replaced democracy.
Now Starmer faces criticism and pressure himself, but many will remember there was little compassion shown when Corbyn was being undermined day after day. The same establishment figures who demanded “unity” were silent while a democratically elected leader was isolated, humiliated and eventually driven out. Politics has a way of coming full circle and many grassroots members will see today’s turmoil as the consequences of the culture Starmer helped create

Every now and then, whilst watching the demise of this awful so called Labour government, I remember how they trashed the hope Corbyn gave to hundreds of thousands of people — just to deliver us this complete and utter shitshow.
Particularly like this. When Starmer expelled me from the Labour Party for confronting him in a Cafe in Liverpool my lawyer wrote to the Labour Party for all the documents they had on me. I received over 700 pages in one batch alone- all redacted. Honestly you just know they are hiding stuff big time . Imagine the work involved in that. Stinks to high heaven doesn’t it ?

@connor_naismith Shame on you. You can only dream of being an MP as compassionate and principled as Zarah. Adopt more of these traits or lose your Crewe and Nantwich seat. Tick tock.
Jeremy was on fire in the Commons 🔥

Wealthy sexual predators & paedophiles do not restrict their abuse to a Caribbean Island
No predator restricts his abuse to one person or place
It’s all about power
That’s why each & everyone should be investigated.
There may be victims closer to home
They deserve justice
They have names, flight logs, visitors, videos, photos, sworn statements
They have evidence
They’ve only released half the files because the rest is so terrible
Only a woman has been prosecuted
