It was a pleasure to see my cousin @drshimikang be recognized for her work in mental health, diversity, and equity for girls & women at the Governor General’s Awards ceremony.
A special thanks to the @Famous5Fdn, Min. @MarciIen, & @GGCanada for their inspiring remarks.
Enjoy Pints? Enjoy Politics? Then join the Calgary Centre Federal Liberals on Thursday, March 2nd, at Jameson's on 17th Ave SW #YYC for an after-work mixer. #abpoli https://t.co/opXbdS39UH
Day in and day out, Canada’s nurses and other health care workers step up to keep people safe and healthy. They deserve our sincere thanks – and Michael, one of the nursing students I spent time with at @AlgonquinColleg on Friday, agrees. Take a look:
#Alberta Liberals came together as one voice this weekend as we move #FwdtoLib23.
Our Party continues to grow across the province, and I can’t wait to see that represented in Ottawa this May!

I spoke with President Biden this afternoon. Canadian Forces will now recover and analyze the wreckage of the object. Thank you to NORAD for keeping the watch over North America.
I ordered the take down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace. @NORADCommand shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object.
Getting ready for #LIB2023 in Calgary today! Great to be in a room filled with Albertans thinking about the policies and ideas that will grow our economy, spark innovation, and continue to make 🇨🇦 one of the best places to live. And shout out to @gudie for joining us!
Job numbers are in, and it's great news.
With new gains concentrated in full-time jobs and in the private sector, unemployment remains near record low.
We’ll continue to invest in Canadians and create good jobs in communities across the country.
We mourn with the people of Laval. Earlier tonight, in memory of the victims of yesterday’s heartbreaking tragedy, the lights of the Peace Tower were dimmed and its flag was flown at half-mast. Lights on the Office of the Prime Minister and Privy Council were also dimmed.
This afternoon, an object that violated American airspace was brought down. I was briefed on the matter and supported the decision to take action. Our military and intelligence services will always work together, including through @NORADCommand, to keep people safe.
Canadians place a lot of trust in our public health care system, but for many, it hasn’t been living up to expectations.
We’re working with provinces and territories to reduce wait lists, improve mental health services, and support workers.

We celebrated #BlackHistoryMonth on Parliament Hill this week.
We listened to stories of success and triumph, and celebrated the achievements Black Canadians have made.
Together we will continue to build a more inclusive Canada where everyone has equal opportunity to succeed.
Yesterday, to honour the legacy of Black communities in Canada and celebrate the contributions they have made to our country, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau delivered remarks at a reception for #BlackHistoryMonth.

I reached out to Mayor @StphanBoyer this evening, and I let him know that our government is here to help the people of Laval in any way we can. Our hearts are with everyone affected by today’s horrific tragedy. We’re thinking of you all.
My message is clear: Let’s give Canadians the health care they expect – and deserve. We’re making major investments in Canada’s universal, public health care system to do just that, and working with provinces and territories to make real progress. https://t.co/wsAWLAonhR
“My heart is with the people of Laval today. No words can take away the pain and fear that parents, children, and workers are feeling – but we are here for you. I’m keeping everyone affected by this unfathomable, tragic event in my thoughts.”—Prime Minister Justin Trudeau
🛫 On my way to Washington with @FP_Champagne. We’ll be meeting with defence industry partners to strengthen the integration of our countries’ defence industrial bases – which create good jobs, growth, and resilience on both sides of the border.
