@6xW_a @FTG28854954 Love that game. the only minor quibble, and that goes for all similar games, is that when you do a Search, you are broadcasting the enemy your own position! I’m trying to find a way to alleviate this, so stay tuned. :)
@cardboardpusher@gmtgames Cool! I’ll add one change to the rules soon, to alleviate a sneaky game-breaking strategy: If behind the Rhine river, you can ignore any Counterblow markers across, during your turn. Makes actual historical good sense, too.:)
@FricotinBibi7@partiquebecois Ben voila.
@Clint_Davey1 Very true. But its less and less so today. When GMT did my « No Retreat » designI in 2010 I asked for mounted and they delivered! I think it was the first wargame done that way since Avalon Hill in the 1990s. IMHO I helped starting that trend again., and double-sided boards. :-)
@marco_wargamer She is just another Trump implant. So a nutcase. At least she is supposedly a devout catholic, so the pope can rhetorically order her how to behave, so there is hope. 😁
@playersaidblog It will be fun to take the No Retreat! System to a new time period. One that is little-covered, and that I found the NR system surprisingly well adapted to tackle!
