The changes the EBU made to #Eurovision public voting are destroying the contest.

-allowing each person to vote 20x times
-introducing 'rest of world' category
-allowing in-app voting online rather than by text
-opening voting from start of broadcast instead of after all acts have performed

It has given a huge opportunity for voting campaigns where people around the world who have never even seen Eurovision have a 3-hour window to cast 20 votes to make a political statement. The contest is being destroyed so that some people can make a point for their cause.

It is incredibly frustrating for Eurovision fans to see this happening to the contest they love.

🚨Great news! After years of unjust waiting, Bulgaria and Romania are finally set to fully join the Schengen area, as Austria has lifted its veto.

Our stance has always been clear: there can be no second-class citizens in our Union. Bulgarians and Romanians deserve the same right to free movement within the EU as every other European citizen! 🇪🇺
