In addition to projecting voice, very important is modulating tone, picture the "LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE" guy.
You want to stretch out the first few syllables to give people a chance to get acclimated to your voice.
I feel like this comes up over and over in terms of "cool tricks" but the answer is just project your voice!
