Another ruthless unethical doctor performed a botched operation on an FGM survivor. Said dr claims to be an expert on clitoral restorative surgery only to do deinfibulation, which later closed up leaving the survivor with more scars. Lucky for him, I do not know his name.

The 'least severe type of FGM is the type that's not done. Let's stop ranking FGM by 'most severe 2 least severe'. No such thing exist. My experience as a survivor of type 2 FGM may be different than type 3 survivor but it does not mean my trauma is less serious
