I’ve come to the realisation recently that if I want to be truly happy I need to just book that trip and stop waiting for the right time because it might never come.

I’ve accepted that the odds of me doing a big solo trip are slim to none at the moment but I’ve planned a 3 week France / Belgium trip and my bigger 6 week summer trip and I’m hoping to do Turkey in the fall

@maycausewanderl I think that travel blogging is a lot more personal and more about your experience and travel writing is more focused on the place and culture. It can definitely tow the line a bit though and some blogs can be written really beautifully and some travel writing is very personal
