A little #realtalk 📢 (To my Content Creators out there, Read if you like 😊)

A lot of u may know about my journey on @Twitch for the last 7.5 years but those who don’t, here is a little info about my journey.

I never through streaming would be something I’d do. I always thought “Why would anyone want to watch me play a video game?” Then one of my good friends said “Here…watch this streamer and let me know what u think.” Sitting there after having a lot of bad things in my life happen…I spent days just watching Twitch and finding it therapeutic. I thought to myself… “I WANT TO DO THIS.” With a Xbox and Kinect, I went live for the first time on March 6th 2018.

For the first year, it was a way to disconnect from a tough life I was going through, a way to let go for a few hours. Streamed @Fortnite and had a blast with some amazing friends. Joined some streaming communities that I will always be greatful for. After 2 years it became more. I saw “Success” that I can have in my life. About 3 years in, Becoming a #twitch partner became a Dream, became something I felt I could achieve. I mained @SeaOfThieves and loved how creative I was able to be and the vibes peeps saw that I brought to the platform. I got the average and applied…then got denied. 4 years in we got back to that average and got denied again. At the end of 2023, I was ready to give up. Denial after denial broke me mentally. But, my Wife and really good friends being there for me, telling me “Just have fun again” and not focus on “The Dream.” I changed games to @DisneyDLV as I need a change and just started having fun again. 6 years into streaming, I saw the Dream approaching once again and didn’t want to focus on it and just see what happens. After that we made a Push. The community rallied and pushed me to applying one more time. Then, 6.5 years in, I was streaming during Twitchcon, and @djclancy999 did the knock feature and made me a #twitchpartner LIVE infront of soooo many people…blew my mind. After we ended that call, I stood up and yelled…”WE DID IT‼️” My Dream came true…I became a Twitch Partner and did something I always wanted to do if I had the chance…make @showstreamteam where other like minded content creators can grow with me.

Why am I am I telling this to u 🤔 I’ll tell u…the whole point of this is to show u that if u have a dream, a goal, something u want so badly…No matter how hard it is, no matter how many times u feel like giving up…DON’T. There might be a mountain in front of u but keep on climbing peeps because just look at me…If I can do it…U can do it 🤙🏼
