If we can’t even control our breathing and heartbeat, then there’s no way we should be trying to control situations that we have no control over. Quit trying to figure God out and let him work his plan.
Football season is Five weeks out.
Everybody’s ranking teams and picking favorites.
The only ranking that matters is the one after the final whistle in December.
Alabama’s still Alabama.
#RollTide.
In a period of College Football when players are often focused on individual achievement and notoriety, Ty Simpson stood firm.
He waited his turn, trusted the process and gave his team and the University everything he had
Go be great Ty, thank you for your service
Don’t know what decision will be made by Ty Simpson and his family, but I have nothing but love and respect for a young man that did everything the right way, and played his heart out for the Crimson Tide. @Coach_JSimpson raised a true leader of men. Love that kid.
If that’s it for Ty Simpson, I appreciate everything you’ve given to this University.
You could have left, but you stuck it out. You gave it your all and you’ll always have a fan in me.
Germie Bernard: Thank you for the two seasons you spent in a Crimson uniform.
You epitomized the Bama standard. Never complained. Showed up and did your job every time with a smile on your face.
You're always welcome in Tuscaloosa. Go be great in the NFL, good sir. Respect.
Curt Cignetti shares a universal truth about habits and consequences.
"In life - you got freedom of choice, but not freedom of consequence."
"First you form your habits, then your habits form you."
Every choice and action you take compounds. The small decisions you make daily - preparation, work ethic, and how you respond - those become your habits.
And over time, those habits become your identity.
You're free to choose. But the consequences of those choices aren't optional.
Your habits are shaping who you become.

Ty Simpson has come in for a ton of criticism all season, but Alabama can’t run the ball at all, his offensive line is mediocre, his receivers have lots of drops, he’s taken a ton of hits, but he has still thrown a ton of dimes all year. Warrior back there.
Bama’s Strength of Schedule & Strength of Record is better than ND & Miami’s
Bama’s best win AT #2 Georgia
Bama 7 wins vs FPI Top 35
ND had 1
Miami had 2
Committee going to penalize Bama for playing in game w/o Top 2 RB & TE & LT Overton while ND & Miami didn’t play?
No way
All jokes aside: if you leave a conf championship game runner up out of the CFP
after they already beat the team they played in the conf championship game
to put a team who sat at home into the CFP
just go ahead & do away with conf championship games.
I said it before and I’ll say it again. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Alabama can lose by 5 billion and they are still getting in the playoff. You don’t penalize a team for playing in a conference championship.
