Bringing MS as a player wont work. We need to play for our team’s good cause, not to spoil any other team’s party. Things @ChennaiIPL need to address immediately:

- Identify those 4-6 players who can be retain before next mega auction
- Get @hardikpandya7 at any cost, you need to sacrifice Rutu/Mhatre for that. MI badly need a indian top order batsman
- Revisit their coaching staff, injury management & strength & conditioning processes.

@RCBTweets deserves back-to-back trophies just for the decision they took 3 years back to align with the best minds.

Mo Bobbat, along with Andy Flower & @DineshKarthik made this team into one of the most formidable & dangerous sides played ever in IPL history. Transition of @rrjjt_01, @devdpd07 are visible in the field and inclusions of Hazlewood, @krunalpandya24 & @BhuviOfficial during the 2025 mega auction was a masterstroke.

Went till 21Cr for @venkateshiyer in 2025 mega auction but backed off, and got him for 7Cr in 2026 mini auction. What an impact he made in the second half of this year’s tournament.

In the recent video in @ashwinravi99 YT channel, @prasannalara mentioned #CSK need to do a trade of getting Hardik & Will Jacks.

Leave Hardik aside, Jacks will be a very crucial a great addition for @ChennaiIPL if that trade happens. Excellent hitter of the ball at any stage of the innings. He scored 229 runs at 56+ avg in 176+ S/R for England & won 4 POM awards in 2026 T20 WC (equalled Watson’s record for a single edition).

And let’s not forget about his economical off spin, took 9 wickets in last T20 WC & he trapped dangerous Jaiswal in MI’s last match this season.

Lot of people criticising Kartik’s S/R at No.4.

For a 19-year old, initially given the role of a finisher, failed miserably, got dropped from the XI, again came back to play a role at No.4, I think he did a very good job.

Kartik scored 5 consecutive 20+ scores after becoming No.4. Let’s not forget that #CSK has a very vulnerable top 3 (Samson - only 4 30+ scores in 14 innings, Rutu - poorest season for his standards, Urvil - always plays high risk game).

For sure CSK had unearthed a raw gem in Kartik, just need some polishing.
