The Reason Most Traders Stay Stuck Isn’t Because They Lose.
Everyone loses.
The difference is what happens next.
Losing traders treat losses as emergencies.
Profitable traders treat losses as business expenses.
One group reacts.
The other evaluates.
One group tries to recover immediately.
The other focuses on protecting execution.
That’s why two traders can take the exact same loss and end up with completely different futures.
The loss isn’t what separates them.
The response does.
We pretty much had two trades today in my big accounts (I am not going to reveal the other ones because they are mainly being tested with smaller numbers).
The first one was literally exactly my set up and it was a win.
The second one I made some mistakes which they were the following:
-I marked my level after a bullish engulfing candle and a smaller one. This clearly indicates that the buyers that stepped in in this level wasn’t that strong.
-the second one was that 11am-12pm based on my data doesn’t perform that good and this trade was exactly at that time window.
A Lot of Traders Say They Have Risk Management.
Until they lose 3 trades in a row.
Then suddenly:
-size increases
-rules change
-discipline disappears
Risk management only matters when emotions show up.
