Back for my 9th year on the plot-still learning by my mistakes! Enjoying time on the plot to escape work stresses. Having fun learning! Always open to tips!
@GrowLikeGrandad I try to find solace in the fact that maybe they really needed them. I'm sad though as they are some of the few things I have that belonged to him. No monetary value, but sentiment by the bucketload
Sad day in the plot. Came over to tidy away and pick up my belongings as we are moving areas. Folk have already helped themselves. It wouldn't usually bother me but included in the missing items are tools that belonged to my dad, and that hurts, a lot - not how I wanted it to end
@KeithBruce14 @nicolaruth1 Oh it really does. I've worked really hard on mine this year. I don't have loads of spare time and I'm always chuffed with it when done only to glance over at his eyesore. I mow his path mainly because I need to use it too. I think he should be given a warning now as it's painful
I'm immensely proud of @LifeOnPlot50a - tonight is the judging for best plot 2024, and I'm in the running 👩🌾
Judges have just arrived-I've spotted them from my window. Regardless of whether we win or lose, I don't actually mind. I'm just chuffed to have got this far 🙂
Lovely couple of days spent @LifeOnPlot50a - 'Hyacinth' has been transformed into 'Giles', the onions and potatoes are growing well and got some more seeds in 👩🏻🌾
@KeithBruce14 @nicolaruth1 Mine is a bit messy but it is challenging when it's so wet! Also my thumb is still painful so limiting what I can achieve but it felt good to be out there today 👩🏻🌾
