A few yrs ago I dreamed I met @paulscheer. I'd spent hours listening and laughing along with his podcast, so it wasn't like a random dream. A few yrs later he published a great book. And wouldn't you know it, the book was a great fit for my podcast. Some small dreams come true.
"Trans women are women" simply means people believe in the legitimacy of trans identity and experience. As a slogan I agree that it has downsides. But the claim that it is SCIENTIFICALLY inaccurate to say "trans women are women" is, itself, not correct according to science.
Oh and PS—Dems didn't run on trans rights in this election. At all. They hoped they'd stay out of view. Blaming trans folks for Trump's victory isn't credible.

As Democrats, we cannot ask the world to take us seriously on science-driven issues like global warming and COVID-19 if we all line up behind such an obviously unscientific view that trans women are women.
The average person sees right through it and we lose credibility
My views are hard-fought and still evolving, but and I stand fully with trans folks. I encourage everyone to assess their gut-level biases. Because otherwise, ill-informed views like this will continue harming trans folks. 🏳️⚧️
I've taken a long time to try to understand trans experiences. I'm still learning. I've gotten to know real people and listened to their stories. I've read books written for popular audiences and research written for specialists. Biological. Historical. Psychological. All sides.
Very solid article by @NFAPResearch on the likely implications of mass deportations, based on solid empirical research. I weigh in with a few words at the end, but the research cited here is done by other brilliant scholars.

Question for Word experts. I am editing a podcast transcript, and the transcript software I use puts timestamps in before every transition. I want to know if there's some sort of macro I could run in a word document that would remove all of these automatically.
A sitting Congresswomen using a disgusting and bigoted slur about Americans who staged a nonviolent protest. People who use this type of despicable language should not be leading anyone.
@StalwartCoug@ApplePodcasts You're the one denying reality and facts and promulgating the abuse of children.
Glad we had this great interaction on Xwitter. What an incredible place for productive discussion. Goodbye forever, idiot.
This is the historic Provo Tabernacle. After it was wrecked by fire in 2010 the LDS Church announced it would be restored into a temple—the faith's most sacred type of building. The chief architect over the project helped create a miracle.
She was also a closeted trans woman.🧵
@StalwartCoug@ApplePodcasts The enforced gender binary sexualizes & confuses children, harms vulnerable people, and demonizes medical advancements with excessive anti-intellectualism. Rigid binary gender enforcement is an abusive, destructive agenda. Good, common-sense people are rightfully rejecting it. ✌️
