Another day... another clean up of cigarettes clearly littered by your staff... all of which would be in the ocean overnight had I not collected them..
I am happy to do a training on marine pollution for your team. DMs are open.
We can be better no?
Day19
A short clean before we head to Bkk for a wee while
3kg in about 100m of beach😔
Almost all seem to be from Hua Hin side not ocean side😔😔
Its insanity to not have public bins more available. Why make it so hard for ppl to do the right thing?
#amazingthailand
DAY 18
6kg...
Big improvement across entire beach... very little #HuaHin litter... most coming in from the ocean today....
Area around Hippie Bar SOOOOO much cleaner!!
Amazing for a Saturday!
A husband and wife duo in Hua Hin Thailand have taken it upon themselves to clean up the beaches of Prachuap Kiri Khan and has called on Thais around the country to help do the same ahead of the country opening up on November 1.

⚠️This is your security guard entrance⚠️
I pick up between 20-30 cigarette butts every day.
Rain washes them straight onto the beach and into your ocean
Filters are completely plastic, filled with dangerous toxins & last for over 10 years
Please 🙏🏼
#HUAHIN beach this morning...
If we each start caring about this we can create enough leverage to make real change..
Thailand has a growing environmental disaster that will destroy its "paradise" reputation
@prachuap_tat@AmazingThailand#AmazingThailand
Huahin hotels can work together to make an impact here.
⚠️PUBLIC bins visible the length of the beach is a start.⚠️
It will stem local littering and make it easier for us all to collect any rubbish we see around us.
Small steps can build momentum... and change culture.
Thank you @ThaiEnquirer
❤❤❤❤❤
A clean Thailand is a healthy Thailand.
Clean waters, clean air, clean land & forests..
It affects every one of us.
We need to work together to make it a priority and put in place habits and systems that enable it.

DAY 16
All of this was collected ONLY in front of @HyattHuaHin#HyattHuaHin
7kg LOTS of straws, plastic bags, caps, spoons
A lot of this garbage has been washed up from the stormwater release in the ocean
But there is definitely LOCAL waste also 😞
#amazingthailand
Summary of GREAT Day including conversation with locals at end of street who I clean up after every day..
