I didn't set out to become a prolific author. I started with curiosity. I wanted to understand how people learn, think, create, communicate, solve problems, improve their health, build successful careers, and live meaningful lives. Every book emerged from questions, observations, experiments, research, professional experience, and conversations with remarkable people.
I discovered that writing books had very little to do with finding extra time. The real challenge was reclaiming time.
Like others, I spent years dealing with distractions, unnecessary meetings, excessive media consumption, long commutes, digital interruptions, and activities that consumed attention and energy. Once I identified these patterns and made conscious choices about my priorities, I recovered thousands of hours for learning, writing, editing, and publishing.
Small improvements repeated consistently over decades produced extraordinary results.
In this book, I share the systems, habits, and mental models that helped me write while maintaining a demanding career. I explain how superlearning accelerated my growth as a writer, how reading thousands of books improved my thinking, and how consistent daily progress allowed large projects to emerge from modest writing sessions.
I discuss mistakes, setbacks, disappointments, and lessons learned. Writing 60+ books was never a straight path. Some projects exceeded my expectations. Others became valuable teachers through failure. Both contributed to my development as an author and lifelong learner.
The publishing world changed dramatically during my career. I experienced traditional, hybrid, and self-publishing including online communities, subscription platforms, innovative tools, and direct-to-reader business models. I eventually created my own bookstore to gain greater independence as an author.
This book explores a truth many people overlook. Writing a book goes far beyond publishing. It clarifies thinking, deepens learning, preserves knowledge, strengthens communication, creates opportunities, builds credibility, and allows us to contribute something valuable to future generations. A book can become one of the most meaningful intellectual assets a person creates during a lifetime.
I wrote this book for aspiring authors, professionals, educators, consultants, researchers, entrepreneurs, retirees, and late beginners who believe their experiences deserve to be shared.
You do not need extraordinary talent, perfect conditions, or unlimited free time. You need a practical approach, a commitment to learning, and the willingness to make steady progress.
If I could write 60+ books while working full time across 46 years, I believe others can write the books they have been carrying within them for years.
My goal is to help you learn from my successes, mistakes, discoveries, and experiences so you can create your own path as an author, share your knowledge with confidence, b
Have you dreamed of writing a book but felt there was not enough time?
You have accumulated decades of knowledge, experience, lessons, and stories, but never found a practical way to turn them into a book. Or you believe successful authors possess special talents, abundant free time, or opportunities unavailable to ordinary people.
I once thought the same.
For 46 years, I balanced demanding professional responsibilities with a lifelong passion for learning, research, writing, and publishing. During that time, I completed postgraduate studies, earned a doctoral degree, raised a family, and worked full-time in technology, consulting, leadership, architecture, education, and entrepreneurship.
Yet over those decades, I wrote and published 60+ books.
It is the story of how an ordinary professional, with the same 24 hours as everyone else, gradually turned decades of learning into 60+ books.
